Bio:
Leo is a QPOC (queer person of colour) therapist who works from an integrative approach, primarily informed by Intercultural and Humanistic perspectives. He is also trauma-informed and holds formal training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), bringing a gentle, collaborative, and grounded presence to his work.
He supports clients in cultivating a secure and integrated sense of self, providing a non-judgmental and actively anti-oppressive space to explore personal stories, increase self-awareness, and foster self-acceptance. This work is particularly focused on areas where internal feelings may conflict with external social, cultural, or systemic pressures. As a bilingual therapist, he offers therapy sessions in both English and Portuguese.
