A Message from James,
At Rainbow Minds, therapy begins with connection.
It’s about being truly seen and understood, and finding support that feels genuine.
I founded Rainbow Minds to create exactly that kind of space—for LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse people who too often struggle to find therapists who “get it.” Our team is both highly qualified and deeply committed to ongoing learning. We specialise in Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) and Neurodivergence, and we bring not just professional expertise but also lived experience into the room.
Rainbow Minds was born from a personal need: the need to sit with a therapist who understands what it’s like to move through the world as both queer and neurodiverse. That ethos is woven into everything we do. Here, you’ll be met with respect, care, and a genuine sense of belonging.
We also provide general counselling and psychotherapy for people in these communities without the need to have specific “issues” around identity or neurodivergence. We believe that all parts of who we are—and the intersections between them—shape how we live, love, and make sense of the world.
And while we hold a special focus on LGBTQ+ and ND communities, our therapists also offer counselling and psychotherapy to anyone seeking support. Whoever you are, you are welcome here.
